Play with other pups! We will have a “rest” period around lunch time, Otherwise we will spend the whole day playing in groups based on size, energy, and play style. We will change our enrichment activities for the dogs as often as possible.

Your pup will be taken outside at least 5 times per day. First thing in the morning, mid morning, middle of the day, early evening, and one last time before bedtime. Dogs in socialized play groups often go outside many more times than this.

Canine Cough is an upper respiratory infection. Although it is not fatal, it does produce a dry, hacking cough.. It is important to know that even if your dog has the bordetella vaccine, it is still possible for your pet to contract canine cough. We appropriately and thoroughly disinfect our kennels, and we are inspected regularly by the NCDA.

Yes, of course. We do not discriminate against any dog breeds. However, we will not tolerate aggressive behavior. We define aggressive behavior as “the desire or intent to do physical damage to another dog or a human.” We urge you to consider what is best for your pet and their temperament.

We are a hands-on facility, meaning we leash escort all of our guests through the building, and to the play yards. We have to be able to handle your pup in order to care for them properly. We know things can be overwhelming for some dogs at first, and we will give them a fair chance. If your dog shows signs of aggression/fear aggression towards a staff member we may have to cancel your pet’s boarding stay. Boarding isn’t for every dog- that’s ok! We will do our best and can recommend some local resources if those are needed.

The temperament tests are available on Weekdays only 8:30 am -12:00 pm.

Please allow about 10-15 minutes for us to evaluate your pet’s behavior around other pups. If things go well, your dog is welcome to stay and play for up to a few hours! Pick up anytime by 12 noon.

This is our reservation booking software. This is a third party site that helps us manage our business. Reservations are made through an account that our clients create themselves. Please call us if you have any questions or need help!

We do not offer tours on demand. It can be stressful for the current guests to bring strangers into the kennels. We try to keep everyone comfortable and adjusted. We are always happy to send pictures of your pet’s kennel and where they play. We will host an open house annually and let clients tour our facility.

There is a groomer on site who handles their own appointments, they can be reached at 252-455-6320. As a separate service, Exit Baths and Nail Trims can be requested to dogs that are boarding at our facility. Exit baths are performed by kennel staff.

We do not require this, but we do recommend if your pet has never boarded before to do at least an overnight stay while you are in town to try things out.

3) Create a “Paw Partner” Account (To Book Future Reservations)
4) Attend your evaluation, Please call if you need to reschedule!

Once you arrive we will verify your dog’s vaccination records, and your client forms.
